  • Bret, does that really work? It just seems like to easy a fix for all these threads and posts to be asking about how to do it when all it is, is erasing and typing in a new name.

Btw, I tried it and it does rename it but I’m not sure if it will work for my website designer.

    Solved!

I needed to install a WMV codec, or WMV player into my computer. I will keep this post active in case anyone else runs into the same problem. You should only experience it if you changed computers from where you captured the audio or you are transferring or importing.

Hello, Jason and George, I was wondering if you fixed the problems that you had with the dirt in frames. I have similiar issues and was curiuos as to what you guys used and how time consuming it was.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the responses guys!

Yeah, I’ve heard about Photoshop and the clone tool. I’m just trying to figure out what the best method is to use. I lock picture in about 4 weeks…so I have some time to research before I need to clean it up.

In regards to how much I have, I do have quite a few hairs and a fair amount of dirt…but not too much. My running time will probably come in around 6:09 (short film) which is good that it’s a short and not a feature. But I’d say 50% of the film has a small amount of dirt passing through it.

FotoKem mentioned to me that they could run a DRS on it. So, I’m not sure if I should do the DRS first and then clean up the rest by hand…I think they charge about $300 an hour for that service.

Look forward to your responses. Either way, I know I’m going to have to do a bunch by hand…which I don’t mind. I mean what’s that, only 10,000 frames? Kidding.
