that got rid of the plugin error, but it still wont open. it says:
affter effects cant continue: sorry, after effects has crashed.
see adobe.com for known issues……..i guess it could be anything at this point, thanks for your help.

thanks i didn’t realize they had forum. but it is also a final cut related issue, do you have any input?

thanks, but i’m a little confused. what exactly needs the firmware update? i downloaded the update for the BR-HD50 deck and installed it and that didn’t solve the problem. also i searched the jvc site for GY-HD110u firmware and there doesn’t seem to be one.
