    Thank you Chris.

I’m running 6.5.51 on CUDA. Are there separate GPU drivers other than the CUDA drivers? Would I do a Mac Software Update to obtain these GPU drivers? I see that there is another OSX update available (10.8.5) but I don’t want to update unless it’s absolutely necessary.

    Any thoughts?

Anyone else have any idea of what could be causing this?

    Hello Ann & Yair,

Yes Yair I see the mistake thank you for catching it and pointing it out.

For the record, I am on 14.2 or v.8.2 Caravan.

It’s as if the glitch frame gets stuck for a moment every second. Never seen this before in CS6.

  • Just Imported one .wav and one .mov audio files and no play lock up. Maybe PPro doesn’t like AIFF.

  • Hi Folks,

I don’t know if this helps anyone but I found a simple solution to my issue. Maybe it lasts, maybe not.

I copied the entire sequence from it’s H264 timeline and pasted it onto a ProRes timeline. Hit play and the audio dropping was gone. My A/V formats are listed above this post.

    Hope this helps someone,

Yes Steve, but if you knew what I’ve been through to land this film… some title files are really nothing in comparison. Thanks Adobe.

    Hi Tom,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you and I very much appreciate you taking the time to chime in here with your detail and what looks to be a solid approach to the challenges of subtitling. Unfortunately I have just pushed ahead over the months with the painstaking process of creating thousands of subtitles via the titles generator within Premiere. Ugh. I hope your post can help someone further.

    Kind regards,

  • Hello Folks, Same issue here. Tried the above suggestions with no luck.

    2013 Macbook Pro
    16GB Ram
    OSX 10.8.4
    PPro 6.0.5

    V2 Video Titles
    V1 Video H264
A1 Type: MPEG Movie Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz – 16 bit – Stereo Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz – 32 bit floating point – Stereo
A2 Type: MPEG Movie Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz – 16 bit – Stereo Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz – 32 bit floating point – Stereo
A3 Type: Macintosh Audio AIFF Source Audio Format: 44100 Hz – 16 bit – Stereo Project Audio Format: 44100 Hz – 32 bit floating point – Stereo
A4 Type: Macintosh Audio AIFF Source Audio Format: 44100 Hz – 16 bit – Stereo Project Audio Format: 44100 Hz – 32 bit floating point – Stereo
A5 Type: Macintosh Audio AIFF Source Audio Format: 44100 Hz – 16 bit – Stereo Project Audio Format: 44100 Hz – 32 bit floating point – Stereo

Exponential Fades between some of the audio clips.

Seems to be no rhyme or reason for the audio dropping out when one clip meets another. I’d be grateful if anyone has any ideas?

    Big thanks,
    Jona

    Hi Trevor,
Sorry, I never found a solution other to create thousands of items… which I’m still doing.
I’m still working in CS6 so I don’t know if things are better in CC. Yes FCP was much easier in this dept.
If you do find a decent method I would be grateful to hear of it.
    Best,
    Jona
