    the lines you are referring to are a product of video interlacing. To remedy this, deinterlace your footage in your editor before you export. It should be found in the effects menu.

    The 16:9 adapter utilizes Anamorphic Widescreen. This means that your 16:9 image is “squeezed” into 4:3. Most (if not all) NLE’s will have an option to convert the image into the proper aspect ratio, though it may involve recapturing the footage. Look around in your editing software for “Anamorphic”.

    try increasing your shutter speed in 24p. Makes a big difference in the motion strobe.

    i might not have explained what i’m after very well, so i will attempt to clarify.

    Imagine you have text in 3d space…you want to animate the camera to fly around that text. Normally, when the camera is at a 90 degree angle to the text, the text will disappear, as it is only 1 pixel deep. Is there a way to extrude that text to be, say, 100 pixels deep without creating 100 layers and positioning each one in z space individually? If there is not a way to do this, is there an expression that might save me some time?
