I’d be happy to help brother. When this happens to me, this is what has always worked:

The stabilization feature is available for files with roles as video. To change the file’s role as a video, go under the “Info” tab and change the role of the file to video. The stabilization option should be available when you click back on the “video” tab in the inspector. I hope that helps. Good luck.
