It’s strange but my text looks fine over interlaced SD DV, it’s just when it’s over a jpg.

    Two more questions regarding this:

Assuming that ‘if source is interlaced, keep it interlaced to DVD mastering’ is true:

    1) How do I know if my source material is lower or upper field first?
    2) Any titles I make to overlay this material, do I match this, ie (interlaced, upper or lower?)

    Thanks again.

(I wish they would get rid of interlacing once and for all!!)

This may sound like a stupid question..

So if the source is interlaced, I should keep it interlaced all the way through the workflow, even into DVD mastering?

    Thanks.

CS3 works fine on Windows 7 64-Bit, if that’s any help.

I tried using my 2nd Monitor (DVI Widescreen Plasma TV, via a dual Head ATI card). But it seems the combination of Windows 7, ATI Drivers and Premiere CS3 do not allow this. Premiere will not allow me to select this second monitor, in fact it does not show up in the list with DV devices.

    Thanks.
