My CPU is not overheating. I cannot render anything more than 2 minutes in length. The problem is the same with rendering other file formats than MPEG.

No, Ive got a problem: It takes forever to render 43% then it stalls. The timer keeps ticking, but no more render. When I cancel it, the system seizes up and I have to restart computer to re-open Vegas. Any suggestions?

OK, i understand but at what point do I have window register the app? Is it when I’m downloading? Or do I open the directx installer and ingest the DX app?
