There is no such thing as a SECAM DVD Player.
SECAM refers to how the video signal is broadcast over the air.
Those countries use PAL DVD players. Many players can also play NTSC.

Certainly less confusing to refer to it that way.
It’s the same software with a couple of very nice features turned on.

Both Matrox and Blackmagic have their issues with Avid.
AJA seems to be the best these days.

2) 24 fps is neither PAL or NTSC. What is your frame size? Is any of it not 720 x 480?

The AJA T-Tap is a really great inexpensive monitoring solution, but it only works with Thunderbolt.

There isn’t really anything for Avid to fix. This seems more like an issue on your system.
Just have to figure out if its operator error or some sort of weird problem that might require a re-install.
Can you take a screen shot of your Effects pallet when you use P&Z so we can see if something is set incorrectly?
As an aside…personally, I prefer to import the image to the bin as the placeholder for the effect, not use filler. If you have ever had a bunch of images lose their links and go offline, you will see the wisdom in it…if you use filler, you pretty much have to rely on memory to rebuild what you did.
For what its worth, though I use Pan and Zoom on my own system, the Moving Picture plug in is really great if you need something more robust and has a more friendly interface.

Strange problem. I’m thinking its not a BMD issue. The card passes whatever audio is fed to it. sounds like Avid is only sending audio from the timeline.
Try creating a new user in Avid and see if the problem persists.

Kind of suspected that, but posted the info for others. Without more background on the issue, some could end up chasing their tails troubleshooting the 64/32 bit setting when it was a non issue for them.
