JUst to add: I worked with RedGiant initially and found no issue with their software. Drivers are up-to-date.

Hi Dave:
I have CS5.5 on a windows Tower with 16gb ram. In a composition with 8 tracks of audio AE complains that it can’t do 10 seconds of audio. Do you understand this as normal or acceptable? Yes there are effects on the audio but I remember doing more than this with my old MAC g5…

Michael: Here is a link to the file and a few images. Unfortunately its attached to a very large group of project files (60.mb) that I can’t separate. IF you do decide to download- just note how the camera doesn’t affect all the files in the tree of comps.
Just click through the missing fonts etc and the problem file should open.
Due to the size of the overall project file I won’t blame you if you decide not to DL.
As I say, it works on the MAC but not W7.
A photo of the comp in the overall parent is included.

I’ve moved a composition created in MAC OS 10.4.11 a windows 7 64bit AECS5.5 Comp…. Everything works fine except that the”reveal in explorerr” option in the project files is ghosted and does not work. This function is (I suppose) similar to the “reveal in finder” option in MAC OS.
