I discovered this problem using Looksuite but now find it is more general to my system than just AE. I get a “lost communication” between motherboard and card driver message accompnaied by a blank screen that momentarily recovers. I took the computer (Cyberpower tower) to a test person who found no issues with either the card GTX570 or the board Asus p8p 67M revsion B3…

    what’s my next move?

    any recommendations regarding new motherboards?

Running Windows 7 Pro. 32 MB Ram.

JUst to add: I worked with RedGiant initially and found no issue with their software. Drivers are up-to-date.

While it’s possible that it’s a motherboard problem, have you checked everything possible, especially internal connections? I would try powering down, disconnecting the power cable, then pulling and reseating the card, while at the same time checking all of the connector cables. It’s possible that the test person did a diagnostic without checking the obvious physical connections. You might also want to backtrack the drivers to an earlier version in the Control Panel.
