Alf,
Thansk for replying to me. I got some feedback from other forums as well, and trying to piece things together.
I have been eyeballing 64bit Windows 7, but I am not sure what all I have that will or won’t be compatable with it.
I understand that if I can get all my Hardware drivers to load on Vista or 7 32 bit, it should wokr on 64bit with the drivers needing to be 64bit ready (correct me if I am wrong on this… my research on 64bit isn’t high just yet).
My only concern is, I don’t have any other PCs that will run a 64bit setup right now other then my studio machine. I do a lot of audio recording as well with Sony Acid pro 7. And I use plugins for that from Waves and what not. I don’t want to install a 64bit OS if everything for my audio production won’t work on it, and I have no other machine to test them on right now.
Are there 32 and 64 bit versions of the Vegas software too? Cause I can’t shell out more money for a 64bit version. Its bad enough the OS itself may cost me some $$$…
Thanks for the reply! Looking forward to learning more on this…
