January 10, 2018 at 9:57 pm in reply to: Trying to Turn a Vertical Video for my Horizontal VideoThank you for the reply, but I don’t get it. I went to the clip, right clicked and selected “Video Event Pan/Crop”, and the window popped up.
But nothing happens when I right click that pop-up window. I can’t seem to find “match output aspect” or “stretch to frame size”.

January 10, 2018 at 7:38 pm in reply to: Trying to Turn a Vertical Video for my Horizontal VideoThis project has other videos that are 1920×1080, so I need to keep the project settings as such.
If something is filmed vertically (320 x 568, in this case), is there a way to resize the video so that it fills a screen for a project that is 1920 x 1080?

Thank you, John. You are always so helpful in this forum.
Can I ask a quick unrelated question? On a different audio track, I split some pieces apart in an attempt to do this. The project has been saved since. Is there any easy way to join (not group) those tracks together so that it’s just one audio track, not pieces? I know I can render it, but I want to keep the audio where it is. Is there a solution?
Thank you!

Yes. I rebooted the PC and even tried uninstalling/reinstalling the s/w. The batch rendering gives me an error every time.

I think it’s Build 201 or something. Am I way behind?
If I am rendering something that is less than 60 seconds, no problem. But anything larger and it crashes unless I turn off the CPU acceleration. Is that really odd?

One more thing. Instead of have two video files and rendering via batch, I tried just leaving one file in the track and rendering it by itself. It’s a big file (40 min long). I’ve tried 3-4x but Vegas crashes after the 1st minute or so.
The PC is very fast, new and has plenty of memory and processing power. It’s never done this, so I assume these two problems are related.
Any ideas how I can fix it?

March 23, 2017 at 12:17 pm in reply to: .MOV files plays fine with VLC, but only shows multiple audio files in VegasHello? Can anyone recommend how I can convert the file? Do I have to do it on a Mac, and if so, what application do I use? I opened it on a Mac using Quicktime, but I can’t save it into another format unless I purchase QT Pro (it seems).
Is there an app I can download on Windows that will convert it? Thanks for any help out there.

March 19, 2017 at 3:15 pm in reply to: .MOV files plays fine with VLC, but only shows multiple audio files in VegasHere is a screenshot of MediaInfo. I have Quicktime 7.7.9 already installed. There are no updates and the download updates say QT 7 is no longer supported for Windows.
The clip PLAYS in VLC but not in QT. When I try to play it in QT, it says it needs a file but the webpage that opens up is an error message from Apple. When using QT, I hear the audio but no video.
Here is the screenshot:
