I don’t know if this will answer your question, but I adjusted the sound levels in the clips and I listen to the audio through USB speakers.

As you can probably tell from my post, I am not well versed in audio issues.

I wrote the festival people. My thought is that a lot of this can be chalked up to not enough options for PAL formats.

It’s a trailer submission. They require that it be 1024 X 576 to play on plasma TVs at the festival. They did not specify any particular type of Mpeg2, merely that it be Mpeg2.
