Not sure about the naming thing, but the media capture settings are located in Project Settings. Go to File>Project Settings and choose Scratch Disks. Your VO files will go to Captured Audio.

And actually, the script works with other comps, not just their kits. Not sure if you can get it without buying a kit, though. They’re not expensive and work great.

AfterEffects can now work with CSV, TSV and JSON files to automate data into comps. It looks a little clunky, but there are ways to make it work. One in particular is from Ukramedia – they offer Modular Lower Third Kits which are AE projects rigged really well for customizing. Once you get your look set, you can run the script that comes with the product and it will use data from a CSV or TXT file to automatically create animated lower third comps you can dynamically link or export. (their Kits work with or without the script and they’re great for creating MOGRTs you can use in Premiere)

I’ve found any effort to fully translate one app’s keyboard shortcuts into another’s fraught with frustration. As an example, with Premiere Pro, some shortcuts function across the app, some only in a particular panel of the interface. Duplicating that in other apps or working around it when coming from other apps will be tricky.
If one jumps from one app to another while moving between clients/projects/facilities, it surely could be useful to have on a flash drive a keyboard shortcuts file for each app. You could probably “standardize” timeline/editing shortcuts to your own preference just to make that most basic part of editing more efficient for you as you move about, but as you branch out into other parts of the app, you’ll run into issues if you try to standardize.

I haven’t played with it much, but Illustrator can do simple extrusions. Don’t know about the lighting. The objects in the example spot didn’t move at all after settling and were animated very fast, so they may just be stills, where you wouldn’t notice that they aren’t animated in 3D space.

Right-click on your clip and choose Render and Replace. Pick a good destination for the rendered file, pick the codec you like, and click OK. Now your speed changes will be baked in and you can send that clip to Resolve.

Are you generating the title in Essential Graphics? If so, that process creates a Graphics Clip only in the timeline. Nothing goes into a bin. If you need another copy of it, Opt-drag or Alt-drag the clip you made to another part of the timeline and change it as needed.

Twenty-five thousand clips? Well yeah, loading the media is going to take a while. Do you need all of those all the time? Time for some organizing and maybe (as Ann Bens suggested) break the project up into shorter sections.
