I haven’t had a problem with capturing live with no tape until now. I knew something would happen one day, but the only reason I had to “force quit” FCP was because I would hit ESC and it wouldn’t stop capturing. Do you know what would cause that? Sometimes it I hit a several times it will finally stop capturing. And with the file that it created, “untitled-av” Do you think there is anyway to fix that? It is about 16GB and its like the video is right there, but it just wont open it.
