We are – and referenced media. It’s actually working pretty great. We mount them straight off the NAS and then FCPX ‘sees’ them. So far, so good.

It’s a short term pain for now and since we’re moving to a single location for shared media it likely won’t happen again. Just something I was curious if others had encountered.

We moved everything over from local machines to NAS. We tried turning off the projects blocking relinking in Event Manager X and then bringing the projects back in with EMX, but the relink still doesn’t show up correctly in the project. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s kind of weird nontheless. We’re just reediting the shots back in.

I just asked in an email to BM. I think the thunderbolt certification process is backed up on the intel side. Just heard that the T-Tap won’t be available till fall as well.

Well, that wasn’t it. It works on a new imac, but not a 2010 Mac Pro w/ 5770 graphics card. Bizarre.

We actually opened the project up on an imac and it’s all good. Deleted the app on the machine in question and are redownloading fcpx now. Hopefully that will fix it.

Oh, and, it’s just a regular stock cross dissolve.

We have an R380 w/ ProAvio 800ms chassis running on Mountain Lion with no problems. We didn’t update anything, just the OS. Hope that helps.
