    This is funny.

If you go to the mac app store, the top featured “Editors’ choice” application is Acorn, right across the main banner.
Under the banner is says “With an all-new look and improved performance, this image editor holds its own against the top-of-the-line tools.”

    Nice.

If the guys that make X2Pro could make an AEtoMotion app buyable off the App store, it would certainly be a thing. I don’t expect everything under the sun to work, but projects that are just pre-rendered motion graphics could probably import relatively easily. That would be a huge help.

  • Hi Mark,

To chime in with everybody else, it totally works. In case you didn’t see that FCPX On-Air blog I did, that’ll pretty much show you the way. One cool thing we do now is have a single mac mini in the tape room for digitizing and layback through a Sonnet echo express with Blackmagic card for deck control. It’s kind of nice not having to worry about which suite has deck control, etc. The little mini chugs through HDCam with no problem.

We bounce events and projects around between sweets so often during the day it’s silly. I like it – and I own it. it’s pretty great.

Mark Morache, are you using multicam clips? I’ve talked to support and they said it might be an upgrade issue. The only projects/comps we have causing it are ones with multicam clips. Your solution of turning off background rendering, deleting render files, and trashing them seems to be the only thing that works.

I was hoping for more from you, but I think this is probably what you’re going through right now…

This is an issue for projects that were upgraded for 10.0.7 to 10.0.8, typically. Try creating a brand new project and paste your cut with no compound clips into that new one and see what happens.
