So basically capturing a video on a monitor with a camera?

Will the gpu will increase the pre render speed of the footage?
There are few videos on youtube show how an nvidia gpu can increase the playback(pre view), but no one of them show pre render speed is affected.
the effects that i use on my footage makes the normal preview (just pressing “space”) impossible.
Also does the colour correction has to be done strictly on premiere pro? or does it get accelerated even if done in after effects (dynamic link).
As time passes will there be more effects supported by cuda?
and The HD 6950 does support opencl.

I would go with EVGA.
They have the best warranty.
If there is a problem with the card they take full responsibility. They don’t cut corners or try and rip you off.
and the warranty itself is on the card, not the person.
Which means that if you sell the card to someone else, it is still covered.
