Hi Wick,

Thank you for the quick response.

I am using Producer 13.0. With DV there seems to be no problem.

With HDV even if I just play the footage, without starting to capture, I will get the loss of video sync in about 10 seconds. It does not matter which codec I have chosen.

I went to the about box for quicktime player and it says 7.5.0.

Thanks for the reply.

The icon is a speaker for the captured file and the viewer window says “audio capture only – video preview disabled”.

I tried trashing the preferences and still the same. I only trashed the plist pref. Do I need to trash any other file besides that?

Any other ideas?

By the way i am using a MBP 2 gig RAM and 10.4.11 and FC 6.0.3

When you say that they don’t support HDV, are you talking about Media 100 Producer or Media 10 HD suite? Or both?

I use InqScribe. It is a great program, the people who have created it are very responsive and you can customize how you control it.
