yes, I’m afraid that is not the case either. Does anyone know of a service where I can call to troubleshoot this kind of thing? Even if I have to pay, I’ve just got to figure this out.

Not sure what you mean by Device control Protocol…could you clarify or offer an example?

No, I’m afraid that wasn’t the cure. A good idea though. Still can’t control the deck in Intermediate codec and can’t see video in HDV codec. Thanks for the effort. Any other ideas?
