I know. Byt it plats just fine in the viewer window (within resolve). Once.I try to play it in the time line, it stutters.

Thanks guys. Yes, I’ve been using Frame mode quite a bit. It’s a blessing. I was just curious on why the apply track data worked the first time but hasn’t since.

I’ve tried Video and Auto levels..

Will give Data a try.. It’s intererstingh that rhe gamma difference also is visible when playing the files in QT player.

I should also add that the files are DNxHD 4444.

Hmm.. Well I’m able, in Interpret Footage, to fiddle with Color Space.

If I here change it to HDTV (rec. 709) and turn Linear to ON, the picture gets even lighter… But that’s in the wrong direction.. -.-

EDIT: And if I check “Preserve RGB” nothing happens, still flat looking.

I also found out that there are some other settings in AE you have to think of when changing Color Space, (like emptying cache etc.) and now I see a difference when choosing Rec 709, even without enabling Linear mode. But still… It gets even lighter.. Not darker which is what I’m looking for..

There’s nothing “wrong” on the Resolve side of things?

Thanks for clarifying, Mike.

But I thought it was a bit strange that I got the banding on some formats, even though I changed the settings to 32-bit. eg. QT-animation.

Ofcourse, I haven’t tried 4444.. But I’ll give the grain a go too, tomorrow. I just don’t understand why Premiere represents it so good, and it comes out not so.
