    OK, I just checked the Render settings in AE. The field order is set to None, just as the clips themselves are.

    Again, when looking at my AE-clip straight in the Viewer in FCP, I get the full res. When I drag it into the timeline (and render if necessary) the clip is in lower res.

    The ones straight from Color looks good, both in Viewer and in Timeline.

    Having the exact same problems.. Just worked for a week on a project, and now, when finally ready to finish up, the audio is mucked up!!!!

    WT*???

    Hi Nigel. Well, I do get good and smooth playback now, in high res, after my changes.

    (edit: I changed it to “fit to screen”, in order to get rid of interlace, nothing else)

    Hmm.. well I sorta semi-fixed it myself.. By right-clicking the preview window—> Preview Video —> Checked “Display at Project Size” and checked “Simulate Device Aspect Ratio” (to get rid of the interlace)..

    Looks a whole lot better now.. And smooth running!
