    From that page, it seems like they still charge you per user. I think your best best is to call their sales team and see what their pricing is for multiple users.

  • For hardware acceleration at least, I’d go with an Nvidia card with as much VRAM as you can get, lots of cuda cores, and lots of bandwidth. New cards are a lot better in terms of video memory, so a modern card with 8+ GB of VRAM is what I’d look at.

  • If it only happens sometimes, it could be that a certain effect, transition, etc is not playing well with your computer. For example, I have a certain video transition plugin that crashes Media Encoder unless I export with software only (no graphics acceleration).

    If you’re looking for maximum quality for YouTube, you can use VP9 which is of similar quality to H.265 and you can actually upload it. YouTube videos are converted to VP9 by default anyway. PP doesn’t support VP9 without a plugin though, there’s one called “WebM for Premiere” that will do the job.
