    it’s just very odd. Everything is done by protocol yet final cut see it as 1440×1080.

    Well this is an ex-3 camera and it was shot with 1920. FCP is clearly interpreting the footage as 1440 despite it was exported on After Effects default settings for XDCAM 1920×1080, where the file once exported is 1920×1080, where once it’s on their computer, they can check the info by going into “get Info” on their computer and clearly see that it is still 1920×1080 up until it goes into final cut, and the clip info in final cut says 1440×1080.

    Ok so I make the video rotate on the top of the image with an x rotation (3d on).

    It worked fine but I wanted decay and used this (found on the site given)…

    freq = 1.0; //oscillations per second
    amplitude = 50;
    decay = 0.7;

    amplitude*Math.sin(freq*time*2*Math.PI)/Math.exp(decay*time)

    Problem is the expression is causing the decay from the beginning and isn’t the image rotate (flip) onto the screen. So it’s one or the other. Without the expression it does the flip but without the decay. With the expression is does the decay, starting a small flap, but it isn’t starting from the top.

    How can I add the decay to the rotation I had already set. Where it starts from the top, then flaps down, with a quick decay.

    I hope that isn’t confusing.

    Well what I’m saying is that the this is for the Editor to export FLV, and he doesn’t own any Adobe products. He just wants Adobe Media encoder.

    I have adobe media encoder because I have cs5.

    success!

    Adobe needs to be more consistent about this though, its different from the mac version.

    Correction, it’s on Windows Vista, and when I use After Effects on my Mac , it gives me the export FLV option. Same version too.
