    John,

Thanks. After my experience with ripping DVDs, I think this might be the best way yet. I’ll give it a try.

    John,

I’m interested in doing the same. How do you take the output into a DVX camera? What do you need to do that and what are the details of the hook up?
I think this would be MY best bet after trying 3 different ripping software packages and experiencing a lot of problems.

    Hi Steve,

I downloaded IMTOODVD but have not been able to find the right setting for ripping a DVD into an avi file suitable for Premiere.
I sent an e-mail to the company, but received an automated reply.
Do you have an insight of the exact requiered settings?

    Thanks,

    Joe

    Steven,

Thanx. I am in such a bind. I ripped 33 DVDS and need to finish a project in just a few weeks. Can you suggest a different ripper. I am willing to pay for it.
    Thanx,

    Joe

I’m not 2 familiar with DVD2AVI. I downloaded it. I copied my DVD filesto the HD. One of them is a VOB file. I opened it with DVD2AVI and asked it to create an AVI file (no compression), but it put out an empty file? Am I doing it right?
