Is there any way to read in a video DVD and edit its contents? Will Premiere do it? Any other software?

    Thanx,

Copy all the files from your DVD and conver them to AVI using DVD2AVI and then import the files into PPRO. Please remember, that this will NOT work with copyrighted DVDs.

I’m not 2 familiar with DVD2AVI. I downloaded it. I copied my DVD filesto the HD. One of them is a VOB file. I opened it with DVD2AVI and asked it to create an AVI file (no compression), but it put out an empty file? Am I doing it right?

I am not too familiar with the program, but take a look at https://www.videohelp.com for various guides.

Canopus Procoder is very good at this conversion. Excellent quality.
