I am also a beginner in Graphic designs and clipping path service. Recently I have joined offshore clipping path site
and their trail service! As a beginner, a would like to get some idea or ask some question about this service
in the relevant thread in this site will later.Hope every expert will participate the thread?

If you know about using pen tool in photoshop then its not a difficult task to remove the background.After selecting the edges just apply clipping path.

Are using photoshop for this? Then for selection purpose pen tool is the best choice.

It should work and I am also using photoshop cs6 and its easier here to apply automatic stroke using pen tool.

Though I am not sure about the solution but I guess the font is missing. First try to install the font and then see the difference after saving the text.

Its really strange problem. If you can save your file then it should be said such things. Please recheck it and try to see the saved file after closing the illustrator program.

Its not the problem of your image rather Facebook always reduce some resolution after uploading any picture there.
