If you really want to use Dropbox, it’ll work if you use proxy files. You export low-res versions of your source footage for use via Dropbox, then you simply “replace” with the originals at time of export.

Though honestly, I think it would be infinitely easier to just setup file sharing between your computers. You can then just drag and drop over your home network–I personally setup a similar system for a PC office I work for (the Mac office I work for was already doing that), and it’s very convenient.

Your description makes it sound like it is working, but just needs to be rendered in Premiere: if adjusting it to the right makes it appear to the right after rendering, then it’ll probably appear in the correct place if you render it from the original position.

Another thing worth checking is that your comp is the same size as your timeline in Premiere.

I’m not too familiar with Illustrator, but here’s some info I found on the subject: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/26094582/export-after-effects-shape-into-illustrator-vector

I do know that a similar process works for copying from Illustrator to AE, so I would expect this to be correct.

Your options are pretty much rotobrushing, or reshooting. You might be able to do a little with the foreground using Keylight’s controls, but I can’t imagine it would end up usable. (And I’ve fixed some very poorly lit, rushed green screen footage before!)

On the shoot day, she should have been sent out to get a new shirt, directed to wear a jacket, or swapped to a blue screen if possible. There’s really no quick way to come back from this. Your best option is to reshoot and do it right, before getting to the edit suite.

Can you edit with proxy files?

You export low-res files for editing, and then replace it with the large files before final export.
