That’s correct – Encore doesn’t have a 24p timescale internally, and so it shows as 29.97 fps in Encore. But it will write out to DVD as 24p.

Remove the labels, too. They are known to cause playback problems with recordable DVD.

Use it only if you don’t mind transcoding taking about 10 times longer.

Button types are for the Chapter Index Menu feature (a way of automating chapter menus).

It must be encoded elsewhere – Encore can only encode stereo to Dolby Digital 2.0 (AC3).
Once it’s been encoded into AC3, you can import it into Encore.

If its a 5.1 AC3 file, you can import it into Encore, and it will be 5.1 AC3 on the DVD.

Which version of Encore are you running?

Your DVD-ROM content should be placed in its own folder, then choose the folder in Encore for your DVD-ROM content.
