Flash export does work in Encore CS3 on the Mac; not sure exactly what Walter’s problem was.

It’s bundled with Premiere CS4, as they were in CS3.

As I recall it’s not a bug, but how PGC structures on DVD-Video actually work. Playlists are “tricks” to get around limitations of the DVD-V format itself.

Rather than take my word for it, you may want to file a bug report. If it is indeed a bug, it’ll be added to the queue for fixing; if it’s not, you may receive a personal reply explaining how and why.

No, Encore CS3 won’t help, as it’s feature set in DVD authoring is pretty much the same as Encore 2.0.

If being able to go to a previous video is important, then you must consolidate your timelines into as few as possible. There’s really no reason why you can’t use just one timeline.

    Yes, that helps.

Unless you need to have 52 timelines, I’d suggest that you use a single asset with 52 chapters in a single timeline, and then use a chapter playlist instead of a playlist.

Chapter playlists can be navigated previous and next chapters, but playlists can only be navigated to the next item, not the previous item.

So help me understand – you have 52 clips in 52 timelines with one chapter each? And each timeline is in this playlist?

Or do you have a single timeline with 52 chapters? And each chapter is in this playlist?

Do you mean a playlist? Playlists can contain timelines, slideshows, chapter playlists, etc.

If you press the previous button twice, does it take you to the previous chapter?

An M2TS file is a video stream…menus would not work there.

Blu-ray requires a dedicated Blu-ray player (software or hardware). In the Blu-ray player, you would “open” the BDMV folder.

Those are the audio transcoding settings in your screenshots. Let’s see the video transcoding sessions.

Also, that’s the preview in Adobe Media Encoder, correct?
