FABScripts are text files, yes? In that case, you should be able to edit the timecodes in any text editor.

Not possible. DVD-Video is not the format for any secure content.

Sorry, I don’t understand your question – it’s too vague.

Which end actions are not working?

[Curtis Heyne] “What’s the procedure for creating a subpicture highlight for a motion menu.”

It’s the same as creating a subpicture for a static menu.

(+) button (this is a layer set)
(=) (this is a layer within the layer set)

Add more layers to your layer set to increase the hit area rectangle.

Maybe not. As I recall, pixels must be visible for this to work.

That said, opacity could be 1 and I believe that would work.

The hit area of a button is the smallest rectangle that can fit around all the layers in the button layer set.

So if you want to enlarge it, you need to scale or reposition what’s already in the button layer set, or add more layers with pixels in different positions. And vice-versa if you want the button hit area to be smaller.

So you have already successfully added the scc file to the video asset in your timeline, and then this error comes up when you try to build the project?

Are you sure the error is due to the scc file? Does the project build without error if you remove the scc file?

At what point do you get this error?

  • Going from one timeline to a different timeline will always result in a short delay in the player – this is the nature of the DVD-Video format.

If you have Encore 2.0 or later, you can add multiple video assets (and chapters) to the same timeline. If you do it this way, it should eliminate the delay in playback since the player doesn’t have to switch from one VTS to another.

  • If I understand the question correctly, I’d advise you put the end action on timeline 1 (or the last chapter of timeline 1) linking you to the first chapter in timeline 2.
