The Media Library is not the same as the transcoded files for your project.
So this device is assigned the drive letter G: on both systems? If so, this really should not be happening; if not, make sure the systems use the same drive letter.

That’s a puzzler….If the source, project and transcode files are all there on the disc, it should work.
Is this a Windows project? What’s the drive letter assigned on each system? What’s the formatting on the disc?

And the source files are also on this drive?

When you transcode in Encore, the transcoded files are kept in your Encore project folder. When you transcoded, where was your project folder located?

Your audio is longer than your video in your motion menu?
If you don’t want it to go to black, they must have the same duration. Loop it in your NLE so that the duration of both match.

Windows XP doesn’t recognize the file formatting on Blu-ray discs.
As far as I know, there are no software Blu-ray players that will read BDMV folder that is not written to a Blu-ray disc. Blu-ray licensing is very, very strict.
There may be freeware that can do it. Check videohelp.com for any tools.

Try the suggestions made by Jeff and me, and then get back to us on your navigation question once you have the basics working.

This is very simple to do. First, remove any chapter end actions or overrides that may exist in relation to this timeline.
Then create a unique chapter playlist each chapter in the timeline, and set the end action of each of these chapter playlists to Return To Last Menu. Link each button to its respective chapter playlist.
Finally, link your Play All button to the first chapter in your timeline.
The end result will be when the Play All button is clicked, the timeline containing all the chapters will play in its entirety, and when each button in your submenu(s) is clicked, it will play only the chapter and then return to the submenu.

Can you clarify what you mean here? What exactly did not appear to work?

There is flexibility in spades.
