What you are seeing is the Pluge in SEMPTE color bars, the three narrow vertical black bars in the lower right corner. The Pluge is used for monitor calibration. Notice that the left one is -3, the center is 0, and the right is +3. The space to the right of those is 7.5 for other calculations. Digital black is 0. The other black chips in the color bars should be reading 0 on your scope.

You should be able to see the frame rate in the file properties when you bring it into FCP. It has been a few years since I used FCP and I don’t remember exactly where the information located. You can also open the file with QuickTime and look in the Inspector window.

Looks like a slow shutter speed set on the camera. Shutter not matching the video frame rate.

Are you editing in the same frame rate as what was recorded? If you record at 29.97fps and edit at 30fps it will throw off the sync. Even worse recording at 24fps and editing at 29.97. Check timeline and camera frame rates.

It looks like some contrast artifacts introduced from the camera, not uncommon. To correct it in KeyLight it is called a Shrink/Grow function, in others it is called Crop. I’m not sure about Pimematte. Look for controls to trim the matte image in. They usually have a softening control to smooth the edge after the trimming.

Also try keying without the Color Smoothing, it may be adding to your problem.

It is called Secondary Color Correction. You can find tutorials online for FCP using that name to search.

Try changing the field order to None and make it Progressive.
