I already said more than 3 times that options are locked no matter whatever codec I choose.
Codecs are in the second box so once I chose a codec, I can’t return to the 1st box.

A friend of mine jus brought me PI 3.04.
It looks like yours and……………..when I click RENDER it says = Could not find an acceptable pixel format!
What the hell does that mean?

So you don’t know why save alpha box is locked or how I could unlock it?

My PI is different than yours(mine is 3.0), that save output box has only settings for file output, codec options are in the second box, only with avi options are locked, I can’t check save alpha channel box.
Here1s save output box, all settings are blocked, I click ok then a second box let me choose a codec but still I couldn’t check save alpha box.

    What software?
I don’t understand your question, I create smoke with PI then open it in Vegas.

Looks like crap the same way.
I gotta find out why when I try to save to AVI, I can’t select save alpha, why are all settings locked?
I just find out if I try to import an avi video,PI crashes…………….always.

    Please tell me one.
I installed Lagarith but even when choosing it still avi options are locked.
I installed Huffyuv too but still settings are locked, choosing codec is a screen after AVI output settings so it’s locked before I choose any codec so I can’t go to the second screen and choose a codec then return to the output options and see if settings are unlocked.
    Weird LOL

As AVI render settings are locked, I tried something different,as I couldn’t choose save alpha channel, I exported with black background and in Vegas I changed channel composite mode to screen, it worked.
Why the hell AVI output settings are locked?

Read my reply again = “BTW when I try to save to AVI like you, that output options box doesn’t let me change anything, all settings are locked, is there a way to unlock them?”

If I try to save to AVI, I can’t check save alpha channel box or any other box, they’re all locked.

Because I want no background and everybody I know who works with PI told me PNG would give me the best results, are they wrong?

I don’t care cause I just have to delete that plugin, as long as it’s working I’m fine 😉
