    Making a mess?
    My question is simple:

    1-I have a main project.

    2-It has a nested project.

3-Now that the whole project is finished, when I click on SAVE AS(copy media with project) of my MAIN project, will that nested project be copied to my MAIN project folder and everything(main and nested project) will be in the same folder or not, nested project is still a separate project and its media won’t be copied to main project folder?

Guys I think I’m not making myself clear enough.

The only thing I wanna know is:

I have a project with another project nested.
If I click SAVE AS(copy media with project), will that nested project be saved in my main project’s folder?
Then both will be in the same folder so now I can move, delete whatever that nested project?
Or not, when I click SAVE AS(copy media with project), nested project a won’t be copied to my main project’s folder?

I’m asking if I save(copy media with project) the main project which is nesting the other one, if all files from the nested project will be copied too?
If the the whole nested project will be copied to the main project folder.
If not so I would always have to keep that nested project at the same place im my computer cause if not, the main project won’t be able to find it, I guess I should keep the nested project folder inside of my main project folder, right?

    Bad quality?
    I watch movies in mp4.
I render all my videos to mp4 including 3D which I just started working with it.
    No bad quality.
Check your preview settings and your graphics card settings/quality etc.

Ok, so I did the right thing, I HAVE always to change alpha channel.
I thought when rendering a transparency, when I import it, it should have a trasparent background already without having to change its alpha channel.
Thanks Steve Austin …..oops Rhoden 😉

    I’m lost.
Are you telling me to do what I did?
Like I said, I did it but still there was a black background.

    Thanks John.
I did it, I can’t believe it doesn’t have it, it’s a pretty basic feature but indispensable.Well you’re a musician so you know how an effects bus is indispensable in amy DAW.

March 18, 2013 at 11:22 am in reply to: Side By Side (half) 3D effect

I created a side by side(half) video an watched in my tv using its 3D glasses, results were awesome!

Then I created a red/cyan and watched it with red/cyan glasses, results were crap, focus is bad and colors changed a lot, it’s like if your eyes were out of focus.Every red/cyan video I watched on youtube looked the same so I guess this technique is crap.

Do you guys want to add any info?
Come’n 3D is exciting so let exchange some ideas.

Preview shows how video will be rendered, it’s the last thing before rendering so if the order of effects is causing that problem, preview window should show it, if not it’d mean preview is before effects so we shouldn’t see effects in preview.

Sometimes when I have that kind of effect problem, I just duplicate that track and delete the original one, God knows why the copy always worked perfectly.
Sometimes I just add a new video track(if I’m using only a few effects) and drop media from bad track there.
But I always was able to see those problems in preview so I have no clue why it’s rendering differently than preview.
