Effects Bus
Can I create an EFX bus and make a group go through that bus?
Like…I want 5 video tracks to use the same effect(blur as an example), I don’t want to add a blur effect to each track separate so I need an effects bus to make all 5 tracks use the same effect.
We call it bus in DAWS, I don’t know if Vegas use the same name.We have so much time and so little to do! / Willy Wonka

For ease I’d use the project as a Nest in a new Project.

There is no FX bus for Video like there is for Audio. That’s a great idea though. You might want make a Product Suggestion to Sony.

While you and I think it’s pretty basic coming from an audio background, the video people don’t seem to get it because there isn’t an Non-Linear Editing application on the planet that has it; not Avid, nor Adobe, nor Final Cut Pro.
Vegas Pro does have a Master Video Bus that you can add envelopes too so they just need to expand that concept a bit more to include other buses. I have often wished they had this and it would be great for multi-camera edits where you want the final camera tracks to all share a common set of FX’s but not the titles, overlays, etc.
