How To Render Transparency?
Let’s say you have a chroma key video, you used chomakeyer and want to render it.
I tried “quicktime(png)” but still when I import there’s a black background.
I went to that video properties-alpha channel and clicked unmatted, black background disappeared but still I don’t know how to render without a black background.We have so much time and so little to do! / Willy Wonka

I addressed this in an earlier post…
Again, yes you choose Quicktime PNG to render out,
but set the Compressed depth to 32bpp color and

The transparency is there Joao,
You change its Alpha Channel in properties to Straight
or even Premultiplied, and you are done. I am at a loss then
as to what else you could be having an issue with.Steve Rhoden

Ok, so I did the right thing, I HAVE always to change alpha channel.
I thought when rendering a transparency, when I import it, it should have a trasparent background already without having to change its alpha channel.

Yes, You have to always change the Alpha setting,
Vegas do things a little differently.Steve Rhoden
