Hi Kris,

The system I have has a blackmagic decklink studio capture card but I’m not sure what settings I shld b using or changing. I’ve tried to lay off to tape using edit to tape but seems like the tech guys are telling me it’s not possible. Unfortunately, my knowledge ends at just how to utilize fcp and not the set up. I’ve gone into system preferences to see if there’s a setting I can change like in Kona but I’m not sure what options I shld b choosing. Anything to point me in the right direction will b great.

I’ve done as you suggested but it’s still not working. I see those awful jagged edges in my apple pro res timeline.

Hi David,

Thanks for asking about my delivery. I meant to put it in but forgot. I’m down converting to SD because I need to lay it off to tape on digi beta. Will really appreciate it if you can give me a step by step of what I did to do.
