I also have a use to capture in H.264. I realize it is not a capture or editing codec, but every week I need to capture 45 minutes of video that doesn’t need to be edited. It does however, need to be small and ready to deliver ASAP.

I’ve been looking into the Matrox MX02 box because I heard it would record directly to H.264. Can anyone confirm this?

Have you found a solution to this? I’m experiencing the exact same problem. Very frustrating!
