    Hi all, to update, the problem has been solved, at least momentarily. Deleting a file called igdrcl64.dll in the system32 folder has resolved the issue. It is an intel driver file that is causing havoc in premiere pro. The same file was known to have caused issues with Da Vinci Resolve as well, with a similar file igdrclneo64.dll.

    Yes, I have tried that. The problem still persists.

    I believe it was a Nikon D5600 and a GoPro Hero 7 I shot with on that project in mov and mp4 respectively, can’t rmb from the top of my head bit the problem has been happening regardless of codec or file type, even to a singular piece of footage on new projects I created as tests.
