I don’t use hair much, but with some experimentation I found the following solution. Perhaps someone with more experience has a better approach, but this is what I came up with.
The basic hair material does not include luminance or glow channels, so to get a neon look for hair select one of the polygon modes in the Generate menu (circle for example) which will then allow you to add a normal material to the hair object. Add luminance (and glow if desired) to that material, and control the hair properties (thickness, frizz, curl, etc.) in the hair material. In my example below I added a light with its intensity at 0% in order to disable the default light and thus eliminate all light from the scene. Using a polygon mode in the Generate menu generates hair as polygons, so it will increase render times and memory requirements substantially (see Hair Limitations in the help menu). Depending upon your project, and your hardware, this may or may not be a suitable solution.

In this example project I set the Generate > Type to “None” in order to reduce the project file’s size for upload. When you open it, set the Generate > Type to “Circle” for each of the hair objects.

My initial thought is that the difference in images is due to the high resolution of the rendered image in the Picture Viewer versus the one in the View window which is always rendered to fit that window. Below is an image from the Picture Viewer at 100% from the original camera view compared to one from the View window which has been zoomed in to approximate the same magnification. They hairs in each image look basically identical, meaning that the hairs aren’t really softer in the View window but the image has been softened by squeezing a high res image into a lower resolution window. Hopefully that makes sense. I am probably just demonstrating my own ignorance, but this is the only explanation I can come up with so far.

As I said before, I don’t work with hair much and am still playing around with how to get the soft hair texture you’re looking for. I will report back if I am successful. Hopefully some hair experts out there will have some useful info.

If I understand your question:
Make the camera a child of the box and it will rotate with it. If you want additional animation for the camera (moving up and down, for example) add a Target tag to the camera with the box as the target and it will always point at the center of the box.

I can confirm the issue you are seeing, but unfortunately I don’t have any explanation for it or a fix. I have tried keyframing dynamics off and on in the Project settings, as well as doing the same for the motors themselves, but neither of those seem to work. Perhaps someone else has an explanation and/or a fix.

I haven’t worked with exporting and using FBX files before, but with some experimentation on some simple cloth projects I found that the following seemed to work:
1) Bake the cache in Project Settings > Dynamics > Cache

2) In the FBX export settings enable “PLA to Vertex Cache”

I don’t use hair very often, and can’t think of any reason why you are getting the different results. Could you post your project file so that we could try to confirm and troubleshoot the issue?

I don’t know if this is any better than what you have already, but here it is anyway:
It seems that the link to “Getting Started with Premiere Pro” in the Premiere Pro getting started tutorials section still works. The others are all out of date.
