I am suspecting Excalibur also. In my case the original video was very good and the match color filter made it better. What I got in the end was dark video that was much darker than the original. Thanks for your thoughts. Best, Jim

Thanks for responding. Mostly what I am interested in right now is having the three cams I use in a typical wedding ceremony look the same. Do you know of a good tutorial for using the secondary color corrector? Thanks, Jim

I take my words back. If I had a virus, I could get rid of it. This is driving me crazy. I just spent hours re-editing, and I can’t keep it from reverting back to garbage. I feel like kicking someone in the ….

Does anyone have a solution for this?? Jim

Gotta agree with you. This has been a royal PIA. I am now on my fourth re-edit of this part of the video, and each one takes me almost an hour. I hope Sony is following this thread. I’ve enjoyed Vegas for many years, but if this keeps up, I may well want to try another NLE. Jim

It’s “good” to know it is a known issue. I was concerned that Ihad some kind of virus or registry issues. Thanks for letting me know. Jim

    Mike,

I switched the preview to best/full, and tried editing from there. I was able to get some results, but not as good as what I was seeing in the auto preview. If you have any other suggestions on how to make things work using the auto preview results, that would be appreciated. Otherwise, I will proceed and do the best I can with the best/full preview. Best, Jim

No, I do not see the correction when the preview is set to Best. Wow, this is new ground for me. Any suggestions? Jim
