Thanks for hanging in there with me. Can I download the CineForm codec and use it with Vegas Pro 8? Jim

That’s scary to think of the difficulty contacting Mercalli for support. So, I’m trying to look at options. Does After Effects work with Vegas? I’m not sure why I can’t get Deshaker to work with my HDV clips. When it is dubbing the screen on the left is totally black. Thanks! Jim

Between Mercalli and Magic Bullet, which do you like best? Does Magic Bullet work with Vegas? Thanks for all the info. Jim

John, do you know if Deshaker works with HD? I have not had luck yet, and I noticed a “720 x 480 pass” in Deshaker. Thanks, Jim

Earlier I had posted a question about why Steady Hand does not work for my m2t files. I just wrote their technical support and received information that it does not work for HD, and they do not plan an upgrade. Jim

Thanks! It looks like you cured my gremlins. Now….if I can just keep from feeding myself after midnight, I just might take better care of myself!! All the best, Jim

John, I found what I was doing wrong. I adjusted the render settings to HDV, and it appears to be rendering correctly. Thanks, Jim
