Media Info is a great tool for seeing what’s really in any media file. Available in the Apple App Store and as a direct download too I believe.

In your experience, what are several of the worst bugs you’ve seen? I’m not aware of any significant problems but my work may be too simple to encounter some issues. For me, generally FCP has been stable and a bit amazing that when it did crash (mostly 4+ years ago), I lost nothing I had just done.

It’s very easy to move that switch I got a new camera bag and the hold down strap flipped the LCD backlight off. Freaked me out at first (honestly, I didn’t even know there was an Off switch until then). You may have just brushed the switch attaching your Hoodman.
