Sorry for the misunderstanding. I really do appreciate your time. Sometimes after a long session I just get frustrated.

Also, since I’m also using Sound Forge 11 a lot, I can get the two user interfaces confused.

Sorry, wrong nomenclature. I’ve only been using a couple of weeks. I am lapping up tutorials and webinars, so I won’t waste anyone’s time. Sometimes I just need a quick and dirty answer. Thanks.

I did use the S split tool, it didn’t seem to work before. I edited the video to the length I wanted. I deleted the auto-created audio proxy track and added my own audio track. I created a title using TitleStrip from Vasst.

Now, when I try to render the movie I am only presented with audio templates, even when I highlight the whole project. Does anyone know what I’m missing here? Thanks.

Vegas Pro 12 using a Dell Inspiron N5010 laptop, 8GB RAM, Intel I5 Quad @ 2.3 GHz, Intel Standard Graphics, no GPU

I am able to apply Video FX to the preview, but can’t select or edit a portion of the file on the timeline.

    Graham

Thanks for your time. I’d try Sony tech support, but never get a response.

I’ll wait here to see if someone else can help or maybe repost on Monday. Thanks again.
