    Good morning, thank you for the help.

    I tried two codecs 1) Avid Meridian compressed and 2)the animation codec, set to best (100)

    I also tried rendering a small portion of the video to a jpeg sequence. Is rendering to a targe sequence the same thing?

    I imported at 720×486. I also imported a version at 720×480.

    No alpha channel.

    I had motion blur on in the render cue, but I didn’t have it turned on any of the layers in my AE project.

    That’s a good suggestion about the field order. I’ll definitately try that when I get into the office today.

    I haven’t exported a portion of my sequence, but I’ll try that tomorrow. I have however, played my sequence into a real time encoder and my encoded .avi file had the same “de-interlaced” look. What’s strange is that my quicktime, looks great… I import and it looks bad.
