I was currently using Verbatim DVD+R It ways “Life Series” on the disk. 4.7 GB, 16X 120 Min.

What brand of media would you recommend? Also, which type (+R. +RW, -R, -RW).
Also, would you recommend burning to an ISO Image, or direct to DVD?

My source is DVCPro tapes. Preaching tapes, that were recorded several years ago.
I capture them onto the PC, and make the necessary edits to get them ready for broadcast. They are distributed via DVD out to the various stations where the ministry as purchased broadcast time.

Never been to Seattle, and never been a reporter. so, most likely I’m not him.
However, I was able to solve my problem by uninstalling the Black Magic utilities, and downloading the latest from their site. A reboot alter, and everything works as advertised.

I have 16 GB RAM, and 2 TB video RAID. I believe my hardware is adequate. For some reason when this system was built it had XP 64 installed. Now, I want to upgrade to CS6, and want to go with Windows 8 if that is possible.
I see that the published spec is Windows 7…

No, I’m using DV-NTSC – Standard 48 Khz. However, I just tested a new one using one of the Black Magic presets, and it’s working now!

That would be great! I have purchased a couple of books, but I’d love to hear your suggestions (videos as well).
I would also be interested in classroom training, if anyone is aware of any program available in the North Dallas area.
