If your doing video…your “response rate” should be as low as you can get it…5ms to 8ms…this coincides with your video card as well. If an LCD’s response time is too slow, meaning too high, the display’s pixels won’t be able to keep up with the information sent from the computer’s graphics card and may result in some distortion and ghosting of the image. A lot of things obviously make up an LCD monitor but with today’s response rates getting lower, and lower, meaning good, they are beginning to more closely match CRT’s..You can get a better response time and more bang for you buck without spending on the Apple Cinema Display which, quite frankly, I think are over priced…
