Thanks for the help. I found out the correct key combo was alt+shift+P in order for me to insert the keyframe for position. You see I have been watching the Total Training for After Effects 6.5 and Brian says alt+P so when I do that nothing happens and it makes me think that I have some setting set incorrectly. I am just now learning AE so I really don’t know here from there when it comes to this program.
Again thanks a million for helping not go crazy over such a simple little thing.

I work at a place that provide very lite editing and often I get people coming in wanting me to edit there video that say “Uncle Bob” shot. They music and pics, the whole nine yards. When I tell them that I can’t because it is copyrighted they get mad because they feel that since it is just for themselves no one would be hurt. Any ways I agree with you and I feel something could be done to change this, but that is the hard part.
