Probably a silly question but what make the pvm14L5 better for the HVX than the pvm14L2? Maybe resoloution? Would the L2s component not display the HVX signal? Ok, Lots of silly questions.

Thanks Mark. I might be able to get a PVM-14L2 for a realy good price too. I think I am going to jump on them.

Thanks Barry, I think we just saved enough $$$ to get the AJA HD10AVA or a bigger Chromatte screen. Thanks for the info and I cant wait for the HVX book. Jeremy

Wow! I thought the only options were a G4 Laptop ($1000) a P2 Store ($1600) or one of those 5 slot Panasonic card readers that was like ($2500). So if I used one of these to copy P2 cards to a PC would I be able to copy them to a FW drive and then bring that drive to a Mac with FCP for editing? It seems to good to be true.
